About Oxford Pride 2008
OXFORD PRIDE Saturday 12th July 2008
Oxpens Meadow, Oxpens Road, Oxford
The Oxford Pride 2008 event will be open to the public from 12pm to 8pm with entertainment from 1pm to 7.30pm.
Oxford Pride 2008 is to be a fun and social event celebrating gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer life in Oxfordshire, in a safe and unobtrusive environment.
The event will involve a main stage with live performances and DJs. In addition will be the Village area consisting of a variety of products and services via community and commercial stalls from national and local businesses and organisation. There will also be a games area.
The event is now in its sixth year, and we hope to attract up to 5000 people, based on numbers from the previous years.
